Conca de Barberà is host to the philosophy of vinification following indispensable obligation to respect the fruits to the maximum. Use of native yeasts in the grapes for fermentation, without filtration, clarification and stabilization of the wine.

Since vintage 2007, the wines are produced without sulphites, wines defined as “natural wines of biodynamic agriculture”.

Joan Ramon and Mari Carme launched Escoda-Sanahuja winery in 1997, embarking on a new life project. The winery grew from their dream to create naturals wines utilizing biodinamic agriculture. Now, the next step is Tossal Gros , a restaurant within the winery that continues the philosophy of sharing a natural approach to gastronomy, using local products.
