Galicia

*Famed for its brisk, elegant whites – there’s little doubt that you’re in a different kind of Spain, one that’s lush and green.

Unha terra chea de matices que se reflicten nos seus viños...

The wines of the Rías Baixas are characterized by being made with native grapes, mainly white, with the Albariño variety as protagonist. The unique personality of its varieties and wines are a consequence of the peculiarities of its territory, its climate, its people and its culture.

Rías Baixas is the westernmost part of Galician geography, extending from the mouth of the Miño river, on the border with Portugal, to the south of the province of A Coruña, very close to Santiago de Compostela. With Albariño variety approximately 95% of the production, it constitutes the main Galician area, with five sub-areas of wine production.
